Dallas City Homes President, Jason Brown, and his accomplishments were highlighted for this year's Dallas Business Journal 40 Under 40 recognition. Every year, the DBJ honors young professionals in Dallas who are making an impact in their respective communities and fields.

DALLAS, TX / ACCESSWIRE / July 10, 2024 / Dallas City Homes (DCH) is excited to announce that its President, Jason Brown, has been recognized as one of the 40 most influential individuals under 40 by the Dallas Business Journal. This honor acknowledges Brown's leadership and impact within the Dallas community. He joins diverse leaders from various backgrounds, including entrepreneurs and professionals in healthcare, commercial real estate, and aviation. This year's honorees were celebrated on June 25 at the Toyota Stadium.

From a young age, Jason Brown questioned, "Why does my neighborhood not look like my friends' neighborhoods?" Brown began his career with inequity in mind and with influential mentors and extensive commercial real estate experience and success, he has built an impressive resume. In less than a decade, Jason Brown worked to improve one of Dallas's oldest residential historic districts, delivering on home restoration, street improvements, flood control management, and increased walkability. His efforts reignited community engagement and improved the quality of life in South Dallas. A veteran in real estate brokerage, Jason has worked with public and private real estate investment trusts, family funds, developers, and municipalities and has driven over $150 million in transaction volume. Additionally, he has development experience with both city and state governments, serving on the SoGood Cedars Municipal Management District and the city of Dallas' Grand Park South TIF District, guiding public spending efforts around Fair Park. Now, Brown uses his skills and experience to take DCH to new heights.

For over 30 years, Dallas City Homes has exemplified values of equity, dignity, and respect, having developed or preserved over 2400 apartments and participated in constructing more than 350 single-family homes. Jason Brown and DCH look forward to leveraging this honor and partnership to enhance their mission of community-focused development.
