Two Colorado SKIES Academy Teachers Selected for Prestigious NASA LiftOff Summer Institute 2025





CSA Educators to Join Elite Group of Teachers Nationwide for Immersive NASA-Supported Space Education Experience

ENGLEWOOD, CO, March 26, 2025 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Colorado SKIES Academy is proud to announce that two of its outstanding educators, Mary Gispan and Craig Kemper, have been selected to participate in the LiftOff Summer Institute 2025: Flight Path to Innovation, hosted by NASA's Texas Space Grant Consortium and the Center for Space Research at The University of Texas at Austin.

This nationally recognized professional development opportunity will take place in Houston, Texas, from June 23–27, 2025. It will bring together exceptional educators from across the country for a week-long, immersive experience focused on space exploration and innovation.

Participants will connect directly with NASA scientists and engineers, tour cutting-edge facilities, and explore hands-on STEM activities and curriculum resources to bring real-world aerospace experiences back to their classrooms. Thanks to support from the Colorado Space Grant Consortium, Mary and Craig's accommodations, meals, local transportation, and tours will all be fully covered.
