Item 8.01. Other Events.
Terex Corporation (the "Company") issued a press release on July 28, 2005,
announcing a conference call to be held on Thursday, August 4, 2005 at 8:30
a.m., Eastern Time, to review the Company's second quarter 2005 financial
results. The teleconference and a replay of the teleconference will be
accessible to the public.
The Company also announced that it will be releasing second quarter 2005
financial results to the wire services on Wednesday, August 3, 2005, after the
close of the market. This press release will also be available on the Company's
website at www.terex.com.
A copy of this press release is included as Exhibit 99.1 to this Form 8-K.
