On August 6, 2004, Century Aluminum Company ("Century") issued a press release announcing that it had received consents from holders of more than 96% of its outstanding $325.0 million aggregate principal amount 11.75% Senior Secured First Mortgage Notes Due 2008 pursuant to the tender offer and consent solicitation as set forth in its Offer to Purchase and Consent Solicitation Statement dated July 29, 2004. On August 10, 2004, Century announced the pricing of its previously announced private offering of $250 million aggregate principal amount of 7.5% senior notes due 2014.
