Obsidian Enterprises, Inc. (the "Company") is unable to file its Form 10-K for the fiscal year ended October 31, 2005, within the prescribed time period without unreasonable effort and expense because of delays in receiving information from certain third party lenders to the Company and its affiliates that is necessary for the audit by the Company's independent registered public accounting firm.
