On March 29, 2019, CEMEX, S.A.B. de C.V. (“CEMEX) (NYSE: CX) informed the Mexican Stock Exchange (Bolsa Mexicana de Valores) that today it has successfully closed the previously announced divestment of its assets in the Baltics and Nordics to the German building materials group SCHWENK for approximately EUR 340 million. CEMEX is to use the proceeds from this divestment for debt reduction and general corporate purposes.
