On November 15, 2004, Prudential Financial, Inc., a New Jersey corporation (the “Company”), issued a news release announcing the settlement of the purchase contracts associated with the equity security units issued in connection with the Company’s initial public offering. The news release is attached as Exhibit No. 99.0.
