SUBMITTED AN OFFER TO ACQUIRE MIRS
ROSH HAAYIN, Israel, September 21, 2009 Partner Communications Company Ltd. (Partner or the Company) (NASDAQ and TASE: PTNR), a leading Israeli mobile communications operator, announces that it has submitted an offer, subject to conditions, for the acquisition of 100% of the issued and outstanding share capital of MIRS Communications Ltd. (MIRS) and/or MIRS operations from Motorola Israel Ltd. MIRS is a cellular company which operates in Israel using the iDEN technology and whose market share is estimated at 4% to 5%.
At this stage, there is no assurance that the offer will be accepted or that an agreement will be reached as the offer is subject to conditions including further due diligence as well as satisfactory resolution on detailed contract terms.
