Breakthrough Television Series "The Tudors" Earns Two Emmy® Award Nominations for Showtime, Peace Arch® Entertainment
and TM Productions
TORONTO July 17, 2008 -- Peace Arch® Entertainment Group Inc. (AMEX:PAE - News) (Toronto:PAE.TO - News), an integrated global entertainment company, announced today that the Company's television series "The Tudors" received two Creative Emmy® Award nominations from the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences. The nominations are for "Outstanding Costumes for a Series and "Outstanding Casting for a Drama Series for the second season of the critically acclaimed program.
In 2007, The Tudors first season received four Emmy Award nominations and subsequently two Emmy Awards for "Outstanding Cast for a Drama Series," and "Outstanding Art Direction for a Single Camera Series." The series first season was also recognized by The Hollywood Foreign Press Association with two Golden Globe® Award nominations.
The Emmy Award winners will be announced at The 60th Primetime Emmy Awards ceremony, which will air on September 21, 2008 on ABC Television.
"The Tudors" is co-produced by Peace Arch Entertainment and TM Productions in association with The Canadian Broadcasting Corporation and Showtime Networks Inc. The third season of The Tudors is currently in production on location in Ireland.
"The Tudors" premiered in April, 2007 to record audiences on the Showtime Network, which recently renewed the series for a third season. Peace Arch owns worldwide distribution rights to the series outside the United States.
"The Tudors" tells the incredible tale of the young, seductive King Henry VIII, focusing on the tumultuous early years of the ambitious King's nearly 40-year reign over England. Bold and passionate about his country and his women, Henry's obsession with ensuring his legacy led to beheadings of friend and foe, waging war, and challenging the almighty Catholic Church, forever changing the soul of the British Empire.

This form shall be used by foreign private issuers which are required to furnish reports pursuant to Rule 13a-16 or 15d-16 under the Securities Exchange Act of 1934.

Subject to General Instruction D herein, an issuer furnishing a report on this form shall furnish whatever information, not required to be furnished on Form 40-F or previously furnished, such issuer (I) makes or is required to make public pursuant to the law of the jurisdiction of its domicile or in which it is incorporated or organized, or (ii) files or is required to file with a stock exchange on which its securities are traded and which was made public by that exchange, or (iii) distributes or is required to distribute to its security holders.
